12/10 Petard FF
Hollandalılar
I woke up this morning and saw this. Well, here is something worth writing a guide for. Have fun. The internet says it is an old cheese build. I'd say cheeses tends to mature well and taste better when left to age in a cave for a while.
Game plan :
Sacrifice everything to age up to fortress at lightning speed then ship 6 petards to blow up your opponent's TC and paralyse his economy. Then, either send cavalry to mop up exposed villagers or do a late bank boom before finishing you poor victim.
Age I :
Gather all the crates, put 3 merchants in queue, build a TP with your explorer. Focus on food and wood treasures. Ignore the coin treasures completely.
All merchants on food. Your first shipment is 3 merchants for a 12/10 overpop. Age up with the governor.
In transition, get enough wood for a house, then everybody back to food. Once the house is up, explorer focus on food treasures.
Age II :
Gather the coin crates with one merchant, ship 700c. Place your outpost in a sneaky way as close as possible to your opponent's base. Secrecy and discretion are key. Macro for age 3 then age up with the exiled prince. You do not train merchants at all by the way. We need the coin to age up.
In transition decide what the followup of your petard rush will be :
- Mop up the exposed villagers : All merchants on coin. Focus on coin treasures. We aim to ship harquebusiers after our petards.
- Build up your eco : All but 5 merchants stay on food. Focus on food and coin treasures. We aim to ship 1k wood after the petards and build housing and banks.
Age III :
Ship the 6 petards. Reminder to never put the waypoint on the TC but rather next to it, lest the petard blow themselves up upon arrival. If your opponent has not made military, he is screwed. Kaboom his TC then kaboom his houses with surviving petards.
Then, execute your the rest of your game plan. The game is NOT over. While you have inflicted a serious setback to your opponent, (s)he will know you did an all in and have neither eco nor infrastructure.
