Infantry rush

A strong rush build for the Lakota. This build is like the Xbow-pike builds of some european civilizations, but on steroids. Lakota start at 200 pop, have an enormous amount of military shipments in age 2 and their warhuts can act as a shipment drop off. What is not to like ?

Game plan :

Get to age 2 quickly, then forward your opponent and drown him under Lakota infantry.

Age I :

Bog standard Lakota opening : build a tepee to cover a mine, a woodline and a hunt, then herd the second hunt within the aura of the teepee. Focus on food and wood treasures. Send 3 villagers first then age up with the Chief (400w).

In transition gather for a market+hunting dogs+warhut. Send two villagers forward to start the warhut as soon as possible.

Age II :

Ship 700w. Gather the 400w wood crates with two villagers at home. New villagers to food. Strat training either club warriors or cetan bowmen depending on what the first military building of your opponent is. Cetan if you see a barrack, club if you see a stable. Build the 2nd warhut as soon as you have 250w in bank. Do not wait for the 700w to arrive, as warhut take an eternity to build.

Keep pumping units with your two warhuts. Ship 600w when you can. Keep sending new villagers to food. Unlike euro civs, it is easy to float wood with lakotas with this build, but you will face a food crunch around the time the 600w crate arrives. So keep hunts within teepee influence.

Your 4th shipment will either be a military unit (most of the time 4 axe riders) to grow your mass or great hunter (more eco). 

Follow up :

Unlike archaic unit pushes by europeans, you do not have to attack when your 4th shipment arrives. Cetan bowmen are less wood intensive than food intensive and you are already at maximum population, so keeping the two warhuts working as easy. Keep growing your deathball and either wait for your opponent to foolishly try to push you out, or age up.
