Lion Heart's Central America FI
Mexicans
A build inspired by the (currently) most prolific youtuber/streamer of AoE3 who uses this build to reach age 4 in a safe way.
Game plan :
Age up to industrial in 9 minutes while being protected from raids using the Central America revolt and its defensive shipments.
Age 1 :
- Perform a TP opening. Leave the coin crate on the ground. Chop wood for a house. Priority on food treasures
- Herd your hunts early. You need two (ideally 3) in your base to fund everything
- Send 2vols+hacienda
- Ship the cathedral
- Age up at 15vils (14 with good treasures)
Transition :
- Ship independence movements ASAP. You won't be able to revolt before the discount is applied.
- Macro for 280 food, wood, and coin to be able to revolt.
Age 2 and Revolt :
- Gather your xp crates fast. Build a barracks with your wagon.
- Revolt to central america. You are now pop capped with the 7 extra villagers given by the revolt.
- Ship the 3 towers shipment as soon as possible. They will be your only defense for a while.
- Macro for 1k food, 1k coin, and 300 wood.
- Ship 700w asap.
- Once the transition back to mexico is started, put 2/3 of your villagers on food and the rest on wood.
- Build houses and start training revolutionaries at the baracks. If you can get XP treasures to send "Our Lady of Light" during transition all the better.
If done properly, you reach age 4 around 9'30".
Variant with market start :
Against a passive opponent you do not need the 3 towers as soon as possible. Thus, you can stay longer in age 2 to reduce the time spent in revolt and develop your eco. This results in better economy in age4 and better military with the same timings. Age4 revolutionnaries are much better than soldados at countering light cavalry.
- In age 1, build a market, research hunting dogs and chop wood for a house (if you have coin in base, mine for 125c and buy wood at the market for a house). You first shipment is 2vils+hacienda.
- Skip the cathedral shipment and send independence movements as your 2nd shipment.
- In transition chop for a tp, placer mine and house, then queue 3 settlers.
- In age 2 gather your crates asap to unlock your 3rd shipment (700w) then macro for 280f/w/c to revolt.
- During the revolt you can train 2 or 3 revolutionaries to hasten the arrival of the 4th shipment (700w again). Macro for 1000f/w/c to "un-revolt".
- During the transition back to mexico ship our lady of light to get an improved XP income. Build houses and train revolutionaries. Two full batches can easily be completed if the enemy leaves you alone.
Branching paths :
You pulled off a fast industrial. Any revolutionary you trained will get their age 4 stats back. They are now very dangerous for light cavalry. Ship Los Colorados batallion or the two heavy canons and pressure. You want to gain a military lead and inflict economic damage before your shipment become prohibitely expensive. Factories should follow quickly. If you feel like you need more military juice, revolting (again) to texas is an option with a discounted price. You have "Old Three Hundreds" and Salvadorian coffee to reboom after the revolt. icing on the cake, your can train guard infrantry now. You current army does not get any upgrade though.
