Greedy fast industrial
Another fast industrial with India. It has its own separate page because the wonders used in this one require a different macro and a different deck. Compared to the defensive fast industrial, this build is :
- More vulnerable in age 2
- impossible to adapt into a Semi-FI
- Not able to access the 2 heavy bombards
While you have major drawbacks, the build boasts several advantages. You can :
- Pump more units in industrial because your economy is vastly superior to the defensive FI
- Access native shipments in age IV, which ease the population burden without sacrificing tempo
- Turn this build into a naked FF if you feel you need to pressure earlier
Game plan :
After a short economic development in age 2, leverage your boosted economy to reach age 4 quickly with the Taj Mahal, giving you coin to pay for powerful native shipments.
Age I
Classic opening. Build a house, put 6 villagers on wood and the rest can herd. Herd agressively : you will need 3 herds near your TC to reach industrial in a safe way. Explorers prioritise food and wood treasures. Ship distributivism first. Once it is there, take 2 wood villagers and put them on food. Age up with 4 villagers using the Karni Mata.
Ensure that the aura from the landmark covers your hunts, two mines and a woodline to maximise its impact on your economy.
In transition, build a house, a market and get the first food upgrade, then bank resources to afford the 2nd food upgrade. Focus on XP treasures as getting your 3rd shipment early makes the build faster.
Age II :
Ship foreign logging. Use the wood from the karni mata to build a safe TP. Then macro for age 3. Ship 700c as fast as possible then age up with the Agra fort using 8 villagers. Build another house in transition and collect 200c. Maintain the rest of your villagers on food.
Age III :
Ship 1000c and macro for age 4. Age up with the Taj Mahal using 8 villagers again. In transition split your villagers 50% on food, 40% on wood and 10% on coin. train sepoy and build a consulate (ally with the brits) and houses.
Age IV :
Collect the coin crates and decide which shipment to send. You will be able to affort the small army from the consulate at minute 12. From then, adapt to what you see.
Variant :
If you feel your opponent will outgreed you, you can age up to forteress with the tower of victory and ship the siege elephants. Use the wood from age up to set up infrastructure and start pushing. your economy is already good thanks to the karni mata.
